Then again, when is dark magic ever be good?

Ah, there's the rub, eh?

Interesting new connection between June and Cordelia. This might explain more about the latter's misanthropic nature, at least if she's taken a lot of grief for being part of a witch family...

I don't see Cordelia as misanthropic so much as just having the "cynicism of youth." Snarky, yes. Salty, even.
Now, Junanthropic, yes.
And have we ever seen her take grief for being the witchy daughter of a witch? If I remember correctly, most everyone is grateful for her powers.

And this, right here, is why I love your comic. The dichotomy of using dark magic to do good, the depth of your characters, the balance of comedy and drama... It's all around a win!

Oh, you're too kind. I'm very happy to hear you're liking this development, though. It's definitely one of the major plot points.

I've known for some time that June uses Dark magic. And there it is: she's been drafted by the light. At least the dark left her alone. You notice it didn't start screwing with her until the light got its claws into her. The
darkness was going to allow her to make her own choice. The Light kinda sucks.

Ah, but Cupcake already had a stranglehold on the Earth to the degree that no color was left before Leo even arrived. So while he may not have been targeting June directly, she and everybody else was still heading for doom.
