In retrospect, I could have had this entire sequence in Chapter 9, to explain why Leo suddenly vanished off the radar at such a crucial moment and didn't come back right away. Oh well. Live and learn.
I miss Cordelia's chicken hat.
Richard the chickenhat is taking a break, but I might bring him back later on.
A duo adventure with Cordelia and Leo... I LIKE that idea!
My two favorite characters, together adventuring at last!
Plus, Cordelia is the closest thing they have to an adult sometimes.
Did I mention how beautiful that last panel is? Lovely silhouette detail, meladreblu.
You're too kind. I did try to make these shots look good, though. Landscapes and cityscapes are not my strong suit.
They certainly get along better than another particular duo.
Predictably obnoxious is still predictable, I suppose. Desperate times, and all...
Cordelia is many things, but wrong usually isn't one of them. If she pegs something as a threat, there's a good chance she's right.
Is that fear in Bunny Wabbit's eyes? Or is his "experiment" at a crucial point that requires constant observation? Is he worried about not making it back in time for whatever he is doing? Or is he terrified that cordelia has thrust him into the front lines? No more fodder to 'Dr. Smith' behind. No more June as excuse. No one to use to his own ends. He must now put up or shut up. Unless he makes Cordelia disappear, and slinks back to his way. I don't want Cordelia-or any one else for that matter-alone with this Wabbit.
"Whatever he is doing" was already covered in Chapter 9. I'll let you decide what his motives for talking things out with June were.
